Giving Blue Day 2024

University of Michigan’s 10th Annual Giving Blue Day video was an amazing project created by the Office of University Development’s video team comprised of Marc-Grégor Campredon, Kaley Joy, and myself with help from other OUD members for work on scripts, acting, design, and more. We spent many hours pre-planning: I drew out storyboards of the entire video to help showcase our vision to others needed for the project, and then later assisted with the filming through setting up and transporting gear. In post-production, I created animated notifications in After Effects. The entire project was an amazing opportunity to learn from my co-workers about the filming process and build up my skills in several areas.

Leaders & Best: Clark Commons

A recent video created as a tribute to donor Stephen Clark who donated to the remodeling of the third floor in the Shapiro Library. I participated heavily on the video, including filming b-roll of the space and students, and editing the video together throughout several revision sessions.

“Flean” Hype Video

In spring 2024, I was approached by a group of Umich students who asked if I could film a quick hype video for them and their product, the “Flean”. This video was used for their class as a method of presenting their product and showcasing how it works.

I had the opportunity to attend one of their volleyball practices, and I filmed, edited, and animated a fun hype video for them and their product in under a week. It’s not perfect, but it’s a lot of fun!

DigiPaint Promotional Video

In my junior year of university, I joined the University of Michigan’s Digital Painting Club, “DigiPaint”, as an admin for video marketing and production. Throughout my time there I managed the club’s YouTube channel, edited recorded workshops and speaker events, and lead the creation of a promotional video that the club can use for advertising and grant submissions.

The process mostly included spending the year recording as much as I could during mass meetings, speaker events, workshops, testimonials, and other fun events then editing them all together with some 2D animations, motion graphics, and other effects.

Hot Moments (U of M Educational Theatre Company)

From February 2021 to August 2022, I worked for the University of Michigan Educational Theatre Company as a production lead. My work mostly consisted of video editing informational content to be released for incoming freshmen. Occasionally, I also provided graphic design work. In 2022, I was tasked with the creation of "Hot Moments", an educational guide for future facilitators. I scheduled independent shoots for the actors, filmed, edited the footage with Premiere Pro, and added animations using After Effects.
